Dark Chocolate Coffee Beans

Roasting coffee beans is an art as well as a science. These chocolate covered coffee bean nibbles have a balanced flavour profile which errs towards the subtle rather than brash - they're more upmarket nuance rather than the usual high street offering of caffeine-induced hit with added sugar. How is that achieved? Well, the coffee beans have undergone a longer roasting process which has promoted a darkening of their colour, imparting a chocolatey, caramelized flavour with a crumbly texture and a sweet, non-bitter after-taste. The chocolate pairing is as dark as they come, at a wopping 91%. The chocolate provides a bold statement of sophisticated flavour, simultaneously creamy and sweet with a hint of bitterness left tantalisingly on the tongue. Superb!
